Fish provide us with countless benefits in our daily lives in areas such as food, comfort and recreation. To nurture this relationship between humans and fish, it is essential to come up with non-human-centered ideas. Japan College of Fish is the first educational institution in Japan to offer a comprehensive course in “fishery studies,” covering the four fields of aquaculture and breeding, cooking and food science, tourism and leisure, and the environmental studies. Our mission is to foster human resources who can develop and create a bright future for the fishery industry.
