2012年 “Man & Object”のコンセプトをモビリティデザインの分野に発展させた、「東京サイクルデザイン専門学校」を開校しました。自転車はその誕生からまだ100年ほどの歴史しかありませんが、人間の力を動力に変え移動するというシンプルな原理は、環境問題が深刻化する現代において益々注目されています。プログラムはクロームモリブデン鋼製の自転車を中心としたビルディング、メンテナンス、デザインの３つのカテゴリーで構成されています。また2020年4月より、自転車のメンテナンスを中心に学ぶ「自転車メカニックコース」が専門学校ヒコ・みづのジュエリーカレッジ大阪でスタートします。
In 2012, we proudly launched "Tokyo College of Cycle Design". This college concept is also based on the "Man & Object" philosophy. The bicycle has only 100 years of history. But the value of bicycle, to transform human muscle power into a mobility system, is of great interest because of global ecological concerns for human health and urban livability. The curriculum contains three categories, frame building with chrome-molybdenum steel pipes, bicycle maintenance, and bicycle design. In addition,we’ll open “Bicycle mechanic course”,which you can mainly learn about bicycle maintenance,at Hiko Mizuno College of Jewelry in April 2020.
