本コースは時計の修理技術に特化し、技術者（ウォッチメーカー）の育成を目的としています。日本のウォッチメーカーは、古くからスイスの技術者に劣らない、その高い技術を称される一方、継承者の育成が問題とされていました。 1998年より本学はいち早くその人材育成に取り組み、現在では国内の主要アフターサービス会社のほとんどに優秀な時計技術者を輩出しています。また、時計製作においても卒業生が、日本人として初めて、独立時計師アカデミー（AHCI）のメンバーとして認められ、国際的に高い評価を受けました。
This department focuses on watch building and repairing skills. Japanese watch technicians have been receiving high evaluations, on the par with Swiss technicians, in the global watch industry. Since 1998, we have turned out many skillful watchmakers, which has been strongly requested by the industry. Recently, one graduate student was accepted into The Académie Horlogère des Créateurs Indépendants, as the Japanese member. He produced a special tourbillion watch by hand.
